Queen of Indore asked weavers of Maheshwar to weave special saris. Which was later developed as ‘Maheshwari style of weaving’. They used fine silk yarn to make traditional ‘Sari’. Now a days silk n cotton yarns are also used in tana bana to make beautiful elegant royal fabric. Intricate Resham and zari borders gives it a unique look. Further, traditional Hand-block printing of motifs adds more elegance to the product.
